PPF has been around for longer than you may first think, it was first used in the military before being used in the commercial industry. Paint protection film can be fitted 2 ways, the most common way is by using template system. The benefits of the template system is that the panels of your vehicle will be cut out of the PPF by using a plotter, this ensures all the lines are straight and means reducing thee need for knifes to be used on or near your vehicle. The other way of installing the PPF is to bulk fit the PPF, sometimes this option is needed especially when applying PPF to extra wide bonnets for example some Ferrari bonnets are too wide to use a template.
