Paint Protection Film
PPF and it’s benefits.
PPF has been around for longer than you may first think, it was first used in the military before being used in the commercial industry. It’s been used by car manufactures such as Porsche on wheel arches known as stone guards or on the edges of bonnets. However like any industry paint protection film as revolutionised and some of the features can be found below.
Features:
Premium clear protection film
Hydrophobic properties (water resistance)
Fast recovery
Stain-resistant
Up to 10-year warranty on cracking/yellowing
Easy to clean and protective.
Self-Healing Technology (swirl marks and light scratches simply heat out)
Strong but thin material ensuring the best coverage on your vehicle
Paint protection film can be fitted 2 ways, the most common way is by using template system. The benefits of the template system is that the panels of your vehicle will be cut out of the PPF by using a plotter, this ensures all the lines are straight and means reducing thee need for knifes to be used on or near your vehicle. The other way of installing the PPF is to bulk fit the PPF, sometimes this option is needed especially when applying PPF to extra wide bonnets for example some Ferrari bonnets are too wide to use a template.
So why PPF your vehicle?
Using our top of the range paint protection film your vehicle will stand up to stone chips, minor scuffs, minor scratches and environmental factors such as bug splatters. Dirt and grim will also stick less easily making it easier to clean and also any swirl marks that may have accrued from cleaning will be less likely. Our premium film is world-leading in its field, for an ultra glossy finish and hydrophobic properties, making it easy to wash and maintain. As well as protecting your paint we can apply different films to your car to change the look of your car from coloured paint protection films or carbon effect, scroll down to find out more about the most popular versions of the film we can apply.
Paint protection film is a more convenient and cost effective way to keeping your pride and joy looking its best for longer. There is no need to take it to a bodyshop for repair work on the paint due to stone chips or minor scrapes and scuffs. If the panel does need replacing it would only take a few hours instead of a few days when being painted. It also becomes cheaper due to only removing and re-doing the PPF on the panel with damage not worrying about parts being removed from your vehicle to be painted or multiple panels being sprayed.
Another great benefit within in our customers is that when they have gone to sell their vehicle on they do not need to worry about having paintwork done saving them time and money as they know the paintwork was as good as it was before the PPF was applied.
